I had a great experience with Maximum Title Loans. I got my first title loan with them and I had a very positive experience. They always reminded me when my payments were coming up to help avoid being late. The employees in the Mesa office were upbeat, helpful and made me feel like a welcomed customer. Should I ever need a loan, I'll certainly go back there and I highly recommend others to as well.

The entire experience here was great. Lindsay's customer service and friendliness made everything run smooth. She explained all of the details clearly and concisely. I felt really grateful to have this loan made available to me when I needed it. If you need an Auto Loan put your trust in this company, they will take excellent care for you from start to finish.

April went above and beyond to help us with our loan. We have been customers for over a year. She not only helped us get more money on our loan but helped get our Apr% reduced. She was very kid friendly, a loan is a lengthy process, but she was awesome. She helped us change our due date to make our payments later in the month. April was just very helpful. She knew what she was doing and could articulate well. We are very greatful for this last chance option. Title loans can be sticky! But she made it okay. 😁

I had an unexpected expense and needed some short term financial help - I have never considered doing a title loan and have always heard horror stories about them, but my options were limited and so I decided that before I proceeded, that i needed to educate myself about the various title loan companies, look up reviews (BBB, Google, Yelp) and then take the time to read the state laws that govern these types of loans here in AZ.

After all my research and reviewing online the many options available, I decided to take a chance and head to Maximum Title in Gilbert. I chose them for a few reasons:
1) Family Owned and Operated business in Arizona, so I knew that my experience would more than likely not be the typical franchise, scripted talk track experience where I amounted to nothing more than just a number next to a dollar sign in a ledger.
2) They had an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau site and any customers that expressed a negative experience, Maximum took the time to address and attempt resolve - which shows they care about their customers experience and know how negative experiences can hurt business
3) They offered payment online - which may not seem like a huge deal to some people, but I work in tech and it is 2016 - so ease of making payments through my preferred channel was a huge plus! (and yes, some of the other title loan companies I was considering, not only didn't offer online payments, but would require me to go out and obtain a money order or use a check...yes, an actual check...then drive over to hand it to them in person - I'm sorry, but no thank you)
4) Last - they offered competitive rates, had a few specials on 1st month's payment and had the confidence to challenge Presto's rates with their own

**Note: Before heading to Maximum or any title loan company, make sure you check their site to make sure you bring with you everything you will need - if you have questions about what to bring, call - they will totally help

So when I arrived to the Maximum Title office in Gilbert (just north of the 60 fwy) - I was greeted right away by Shawna (even as she was helping another customer) and waited all of 2 min before Corina came out to greet me and immediately put me at ease - as the loan discussion began, i expressed my reservations and she completely understood and made sure i knew that Maximum is there to help and to respect my desire for discretion. (and in case you were curious - Jay Jones is not my actual name, but while i would like to keep my identity private, I felt my experience warranted writing my first ever online review)

Having brought with me, all of the items the Maximum site said would be needed, the process began and it was honestly, no more than 45 min (mostly because i was talking Corina's ear off with all my questions - but she answered each and every question thoroughly, no matter how simple or complex), but what impressed me the most, was when she was finalizing the loan with her boss over the phone, she stopped and suddenly handed me the phone - I was quite confused, when i asked who it was and what it was about - she told me that it was her boss, Brandon - oh, he is also the owner of Maximum, apparently he likes to speak with every customer.

Ok. That REALLY impressed me...I mean when was the last time Tim Cook called you when you bought an iPhone? Brandon was very nice and just wanted to say "hello", thank me for my business, ask me how i chose Maximum and most importantly - wanted to make sure that before i signed anything that i was clear on how my title loan would work and wanted to make sure any questions i had were answered.

After we hung up, Corina walked me through the contract, what the payments were and how/when to make them. I reviewed, I signed and I got my check.

As i mentioned, this is my first online review - but i was so impressed and had such a great experience with doing something that I was incredible petrified of doing - so I can't thank Brandon, Corina and Shawna enough! I would certainly recommend Maximum if you are needing a short term loan!

Maximum Title Loans was there for me when I had an unexpected emergency. I used my motorcycle for a title loan which was great, since no other title loan companies would accept my collateral. The customer service was top notch and very friendly, I would definitely come back when I need extra cash. I recommend this place if anyone is in a pinch and need money fast!

I recently took out a title loan with Maximum title loans. WOW what a great experience! the staff was very friendly and helpful. they were able to help me refinance a loan I had with a competitor at a better interest rate which resulted in much lower payments. I called 5 mins ago and some guy answered the phone with a mouth full of food couldnt understand anything but cash time when I asked him to repeat himself he yelled cash time I advised the agent that I had heard cash time but with a mouth full of food I was confused as to why he was saying cash time when the companys name in Maximum. He hung up in my face afterwards and when I called back it went straight to voicemail. Bad customer service I dont know why the agent didnt want to help or simply repeat himself. I guess the food was more important than servicing customers.. horrible I wouldnt waste my time with this company

Performs harassing calls to family of debtors. The debtors do not live with the family. Maximum Title forcibly insists that family must relay their messages. Any refusal to relay their messages, results in long arguments.

They started out great. However, this first issue is my primary issue which ended with a very unsatisfying result causing me to go from a titleloan agency that i d recommend into one that i d suggest against. My experience with this company was twice, as a recurring customer. I have just cleared out my second and final loan with them. Before doing so, i gave Megan a call to inform her that my last payment is coming up and that I would like to adjust my autopay to cover the remaining amount rather than the usual full amount To ensure I dont get overcharged. ( i dont owe the full amount as It s my last payment ) she told me not to worry as the autopay will only deduct the remaining amount required for my loan. Feeling reassured, I waited until the payment came through, and guess what? It took the full amount regardless. After constant calls with Kyle and Megan, they both told me they re working on the refund and will call me back with results (she never apologized for not fixing this mess before it happened) eitherway, they both never got back to me and I waited 5 business days until I called again asking where the money they took went, only to be told to wait 14 business days to get my money back. Frustrating as that is, considering that its their mistake. Nobody cared. Saying theres nothing they can do and I should wait. While refusing to let me speak to the owner.. Thats only one scenario of my experience with them.. here are a few other minor things that might play a smaller role. Firstly, if they say the process will take 5-10 min to start up or add to your loan, it wont. Don t be fooled. I was, around 5 times. Bringing in ready documents and waiting over 1 hour everytime. Even when i email them all my paperwork and documents in advance to hasten the process. Second, when I took the addition to my loan, I wasn t given the same rate the loan originally had, only finding that out at the end of signing paperwork with the lady saying she wasn t able to get me the same rate. (It s alright, I just wish I knew before waiting an hour + at the office) Third, Megan sounded great years ago, she was nice. Lately, hearing her on calls. She sounds unhappy, unwilling to cooperate and depressing to speak with. Which is such a shame and unbecoming for someone of her position. I d like to think otherwise but, perhaps she was only nice for processing a loan rather than helping close it. Fourth, their payoff department is ridiculous. You re supposed to leave a voicemail with the information about you and they get back to u in 2 hours or the next day. Out of the 10+ times I asked for my payoff over the years, I never got a call back except once. It was soooo frustrating, I had to call the office and basically beg them to contact pay off themselves in addition to me making a voice mail and still, I had to call back myself, the next day, to get the payoff amount. If you want a loan, its a great place if you like whatever rate you re given, but keep in mind of my experience and how it might affect you in a personal level.

I have been dealing with Maximum Title Loan since 08/14/2017. Never missed a payment. Tried 2 different times to increase my amount - to no avail. I have asked several times what my payoff amount is and no one wants to give that to me. Sitting here today in there Mesa Office for payoff? Wow.....finally got a payoff amount of course nothing to the principal in 2 years. The owner B never returns messages when his website says usually in an hour. When he does answer he should teally use his words wisely because he could be facing a lawsuit All around bad company. Its time to call the BBB and file a complaint. Go to Presto, Speedy anyone but this company.

I would not recommend this title loan company to anyone. They lied to me from the beginning. I borrowed 1300 over two years ago. They put me on an interests only loan (without explaining to me). When i went back down there because a year later my loan didnt go down, thats when they told me its my fault. I switched the loan to interest and principle. In the ends i will be paying 4834 for a 1300 loan. Horrible customer service. . Ive Paid every loan on my due date. Today i receive a call, the lady is arguing with me telling me i didnt make my payment on time and that i owe late fees. In which i made my payment on time and have every single time. Im So done with this company. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Employees are nice BUT read the fine print before u sign your contract because if u are 1 day late they will start to repo your car. My pay date changed and they wanted to take my car. After almost 10yrs with speedy cash they would never do something like this so becareful.

If there were negative star options I would have opted for the NEGATIVE STAR! But here I am having to choose one star... THIS PLACE SUCKS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! First off, we were told this was a interest PLUS principal loan paid at same time (we asked several times and she assured us circled it and underlined this) say yes to be paid off by X DATE! We sign and low and behold X DATE happens and nope we are still paying and guess what?!? THE ENTIRE LOAN AMOUNT IS STILL OWED PLUS SOME! Oh, don t forget these people call you the day of several times DEMANDING! Yes, I said DEMANDING to know the exact time you plan to pay your payment, how it s being paid on the due date. Not to mention they text you incessantly all day, email you the day before and day of the due date! WHEN YOU HAVE NOT MISSED A PAYMENT!! To be very honest we were late ONCE and it was due to my husband being in a motorcycle accident while I was out of town, the lady contacted me when she couldn t reach my husband (he was in the emergency room mind you!) I explained situation and was told WOW! How unfortunate when do you plan to make this payment it s due by midnight! THESE PEOPLE ARE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE NEVER EVER GO HERE I WILL CONTINUE TO TELL EVERYONE I SPEAK TO TO RUN THE OTHER WAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL MY DYING DAY! THANK GOD THIS NIGHTMARE IS OVER!

No matter how informed you keep the staff of when you are making a payment they hound you and treat you like a criminal until you call in to report a payment and mind you this is on the due date - you arent even late yet. Also they want to keep getting your 100% plus interest rate so they arent in the business to provide a timely payoff quote and avoid you until you have to go to extremes to get their attention. I asked for payoff quotes a few different occasions where you have to leave a message. They state the will return your call within 2 hours. I had to email a corporate email to get a reply after speaking with someone 2 times that same day on my most recent and last attempt of paying them off.. Even the corporate people were confrontational in their email asking the dates and times I requested the other payoffs. At that point I dont have that info handy so just run your business professionally, and that wont be an issue you have to defend against, Maximum. The entire 4 month experience was the worst decision I ever made, and it didnt help that it started with the rep at the Mesa branch who was condescending and entirely transparently friendly who treated me like I was stupid and didnt understand interest. She repeatedly kept asking me if I understood, and it was so condescending she left me with such a bad taste for the reputation of this company right off the bat. She asked if I would take a survey as I was leaving and she would email me - lucky for her she forgot to email. Over the course of the next 4 months she took joy in sending harassing texts days before and on the due date until you made the payment. Many times I had to tell her to back off I am at work and plan to do this on a break. God forbid hard times ever come around again; I would never return to maximum title. And in all fairness I can acknowledge positive qualities as well. They had 2 redeeming qualities, they had a friendly and knowledgeable gentleman working on the payments line who seemed totally capable of providing payoff info when others would not return a call. Also when I went back to the Mesa branch to make the payoff, the gal helping me was friendly, professional, and relayed all info about how they release the title and when to expect it back. She was fast and courteous and is a good balance to the nightmare gal that originally helped me. You will be better off making other arrangements than resorting to this service so I wish anyone the best that feels they have to do this, and if it is the route you intend to go then do your research before choosing Maximum.

This place is a complete joke. So first i sat in their office for 90 min with a appointment. Then i was asked to take my title down to a 3rd party motor vehicles office a get a lean on the title and then come back. I got a 2000 dollar loan paid 450 back in 3 months then went over to pay off and i was told that the total was 2040 confused but paid it back in February and here we are June 11 and sill have not received my title. Called their office and the tell me the title was released back in March and tell me that i have to take it up with the motor vehicles. So now i have to take my time and money and go down there to get it back. Poor customer service. I will NEVER use or recommend this place to anyone.

Needed my money, thought this would be a great place to go, process wasn t what their website advertised, it took a few hours to get everything done. Once you paid off your loan in Full, Don t expect the title right away or at all. I paid off 2/22/18. Now it s 4/12 and per the State of AZ, Maximim Title loan is still the Lien Holder and when calling the store, they keep pushing blame on the State... Finally sent notice to BBB so this issue can be resolved. I would look else where if really needing a title loan!

Due to unfortunate circumstances, my husband and I had to get a title loan. When we went into this location we were warmly greeted by April. The process was longer than we expected but we were happy with the outcome. We found April to be, not only pleasant but, very knowledgeable, informative and efficient.

Although my experience with staff was easy and pleasant, I have to give a two star rating. I have used Maximum Title Loans twice, and have overpaid both balances to avoid any missed fees or charges. I have made efforts to receive my refunds, over the phone and in person, to no conclusion. Although Ive received no tangible response from anyone, nor a refund, I have received plenty of solicitations and calls since then, asking me to come back as a customer. No thanks.

Disorganized would be an understatement! I contact Maximum to inquire on a title loan. I told them I dont have a lot of time so I wanted to be pre-approved. It states that all over their Ad ??? 15 min. loan. NOT. I filled out all the requested forms and sent them over, I even called ahead to make sure there was nothing else I would need. The guy on the phone said Come on in I asked do you have everything you need...he stated Yes so I said then why are you asking me questions that I answer on the application........... He said okay I will review everything and send you a text that everything is good. 5 minute later, I received a text OK Drove down to the Mesa location and the person asked me to fill out the forms I had sent over the night before...that were CONFIRM!! with the guy on the phone?? I told her I should be on file.. still wanted all of the documents so she could enter them in the system??? I was told this was already done in a text . 45 minute later...I was told I need to go to Cash Time because they couldnt approve me for the loan on $2000 that was asking for...no offer for less, just said need to go to Cash Time on Baseline. Went to Cash Time and was in and out within 30 minute with $2000. Nothing more to say.

The online reviews of Maximum stood out amongst competitors, and my interaction with them was a true representation of others previous reviews. my wife and i were trying to close on a home loan and came up a little short. our mortgage company was in west phx. but we currently live in mesa. unfortunately our only option was to get a loan on our car since time was crucial. my wife and i , along with my one year old left the mortgage company planning on getting a tittle loan real quick. we had all the paperwork needed with us since we were trying to close on this house. now our car is a little older with high miles on the odometer, but it has 5000 miles on a custom drive train , thousands spent on custom wheels , paint ,stereo and every thing else it needed to become almost new once again. we stopped at six , yes six tittle loan companies between phx. and mesa and not one of them could see past their little black book pricing guide. i could have gotten better offers for my speakers at a pawn shop than they were offering on my whole car. i couldnt believe it! still cant. we rolled into maximum about ten minutes before they closed. our frustrations had turned to anger hours ago, hot , tired and about to give up on all of it. we plead our case to a lovely woman named shawna [who was about to go home herself] but instead of ending her long day she listened to my problems and looked outside the box for solutions, she did her thing and was able to get us approved for the amount we needed. double the highest previous offers ! i needed only to return in the morning with an item i was missing and finish this thing. the next morning i was there bright and early eager to close this. shawna was not there! instead we were greeted by another lovely young lady named corina. corina not only greeted us by name but was aware of our situation and had everything ready to go. her professionalism and knowledge of her job had us in and out in a matter of minutes. she even took time entertaining my 1 year old daughter. in order to be as ready as she was these two ladies must have collaborated the night before , after hours, on their own time to fit my schedule. that really says alot! you just dont see that kind of dedication much . not only do i recommend the ladies at maximum on gilbert rd. in mesa, my wife and i appreciate your efforts and truly thank you for helping us out. if they worked for me id give them both fat raises and company cars! LOL

I had an unexpected expense and needed some short term financial help - I have never considered doing a title loan and have always heard horror stories about them, but my options were limited and so I decided that before I proceeded, that i needed to educate myself about the various title loan companies, look up reviews (BBB, Google, Yelp) and then take the time to read the state laws that govern these types of loans here in AZ. After all my research and reviewing online the many options available, I decided to take a chance and head to Maximum Title in Gilbert. I chose them for a few reasons: 1) Family Owned and Operated business in Arizona, so I knew that my experience would more than likely not be the typical franchise, scripted talk track experience where I amounted to nothing more than just a number next to a dollar sign in a ledger. 2) They had an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau site and any customers that expressed a negative experience, Maximum took the time to address and attempt resolve - which shows they care about their customers experience and know how negative experiences can hurt business 3) They offered payment online - which may not seem like a huge deal to some people, but I work in tech and it is 2016 - so ease of making payments through my preferred channel was a huge plus! (and yes, some of the other title loan companies I was considering, not only didnt offer online payments, but would require me to go out and obtain a money order or use a check...yes, an actual check...then drive over to hand it to them in person - Im sorry, but no thank you) 4) Last - they offered competitive rates, had a few specials on 1st months payment and had the confidence to challenge Prestos rates with their own **Note: Before heading to Maximum or any title loan company, make sure you check their site to make sure you bring with you everything you will need - if you have questions about what to bring, call - they will totally help So when I arrived to the Maximum Title office in Gilbert (just north of the 60 fwy) - I was greeted right away by Shawna (even as she was helping another customer) and waited all of 2 min before Corina came out to greet me and immediately put me at ease - as the loan discussion began, i expressed my reservations and she completely understood and made sure i knew that Maximum is there to help and to respect my desire for discretion. (and in case you were curious - Jay Jones is not my actual name, but while i would like to keep my identity private, I felt my experience warranted writing my first ever online review) Having brought with me, all of the items the Maximum site said would be needed, the process began and it was honestly, no more than 45 min (mostly because i was talking Corinas ear off with all my questions - but she answered each and every question thoroughly, no matter how simple or complex), but what impressed me the most, was when she was finalizing the loan with her boss over the phone, she stopped and suddenly handed me the phone - I was quite confused, when i asked who it was and what it was about - she told me that it was her boss, Brandon - oh, he is also the owner of Maximum, apparently he likes to speak with every customer. Ok. That REALLY impressed me...I mean when was the last time Tim Cook called you when you bought an iPhone? Brandon was very nice and just wanted to say hello, thank me for my business, ask me how i chose Maximum and most importantly - wanted to make sure that before i signed anything that i was clear on how my title loan would work and wanted to make sure any questions i had were answered. After we hung up, Corina walked me through the contract, what the payments were and how/when to make them. I reviewed, I signed and I got my check. As i mentioned, this is my first online review - but i was so impressed and had such a great experience with doing something that I was incredible petrified of doing - so I cant thank Brandon, Corina and Shawna enough! I would certainly recommend Maximum if you are needing a short term loan!

I had a great experience with Maximum Title Loans. I got my first title loan with them and I had a very positive experience. They always reminded me when my payments were coming up to help avoid being late. The employees in the Mesa office were upbeat, helpful and made me feel like a welcomed customer. Should I ever need a loan, Ill certainly go back there and I highly recommend others to as well.

Beware of getting loans from places like this one! You should sell drugs, your kids, go into prostitution, rob a bank, borrow the money from the mafia, youll get a better interest rate then places like this! With high interest payments that are unreasonable for people to barely make and by the time your done, if you get done, youll be paying back over twice the amount you borrowed! I seriously dont see how businesses like these are allowed to operate legally. The mob wasnt allowed to do loansharking but places like these are! Im sure there are some politicians getting kickbacks from these institutions. It is unfortunate that places like these prey on good people out there who need financial help but banks wont because of their poor credit. Enough is enough already! This was definitely a learning experience for me and will do my best to discourage anyone who is looking at a title loan to help them.

The entire experience here was great. Lindsays customer service and friendliness made everything run smooth. She explained all of the details clearly and concisely. I felt really grateful to have this loan made available to me when I needed it. If you need an Auto Loan put your trust in this company, they will take excellent care for you from start to finish.

I messed up and brought the wrong stuff and they were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get everything together to get the title loan complete. Much better experience than other places that is for certain.

Maximum Title Loans was there for me when I had an unexpected emergency. I used my motorcycle for a title loan which was great, since no other title loan companies would accept my collateral. The customer service was top notch and very friendly, I would definitely come back when I need extra cash. I recommend this place if anyone is in a pinch and need money fast!

These folks are pleseant to work with...they listened to what I needed and had me out the door with funds in hand in less than 30 minutes...Flor is the best...she is great to work with ...they have been very fair and honest with me in my loan needs with them...I will use them again and recommend them to my friends and family...

Christine was such a great help to us in our time of need and I would refer anyone to this title loan company, mostly due to the amazing customer service that we received and the willingness to be solution-oriented. I have never taken out a title loan and not only did Christine explain that it is meant to help us, but also explained the terms, which really are very flexible.
