When it comes to customer service this is the worst place I've ever seen. The people who answer the phones don't seem to know what they're doing. Their guy derrick fountain is some kind of wanna be tough guy. What I mean by that is over the phone he tries to act tough and sound mean. When you see him in person he backs down and tries to be your friend. This "business" is all around shady. Do yourself a favor save yourself a headache and do business elsewhere like I should have!!!

I noticed only good reviews get a response lol. This review is late but it’s better late than never. Okay was only 20 at the time. Never purchased a car from a lot before. I was sold a car with bald tires, one was flat by the time I got home. The following day at work I started having issues with the car starting. Now that I look back at that time, it was definitely not legal to let me drive of the lot in the condition that it was in. Many many issue. Fast forward some time, I was about 1 or 3 payments away from paying the whole car off when my boyfriend turned the front right fender into a poorly placed palm tree in a parking lot of a senior living home. It broke my head light and dented the fender. No major damage. Red mountain funding was my insurance as well as the business that provided me the car loan. I went through them to get it fixed and they told me to drop it off at the mechanic. I know nothing about cars, how long they should be at the shop, anything. About 2 days passed and I heard nothing from the shop so I called to check in on the progress and they told me the car was picked up on the previous day. I called the car lot since they sold the cars, offered the loans and provided the insurance, they said they REPOSSESSED it because the cost to fix was not worth it to then. So they wrote it off as TOTALED which it was not totaled and told me to pay the cost to activate my gap insurance. I had no other options. So I paid the cost and the car now belonged to the company for them to resell. I paid all of that money into it for nothing. Really felt robbed. Not only that but now I had a repossession listed on my credit report which eventually came down after disputing it but it continually reappeared over the years and had affected me greatly at times. Some people may have a good experience. My friend who recommended them had a good experience but I personally did not. If you look as though you can be taken advantage of then be careful. You may be.

Derrick was great! He worked with us to get us into our vehicle as quickly as possible. When we had a mechanical issue arise within our warranty period, April bent over backwards to get parts ordered and delivered and get the work done within a couple of days! These guys are great! I hope to have a long relationship of purchases through Red Mountain Funding!

Poor communication, I emailed more then one person with in the facility and got no response but yet they kept calling a broken phone that I even told them the screen don't work on that phone and called them telling them it was broken and told them the only source of communication I have right now was email and mail... These people don't care about their customers. Once they've received your money or you purchased a car they forget about you cause it's all ABOUT THE MONEY. I didn't even realize I purchased a vehicle that didn't even pass admissions the first two times. One coil blew out first week I had the car and everyone knows once one coil goes out they all start going out I do not recommend anyone purchasing a used vehicle from here.

They are OKAY for a car loan. I have a high interest rate, paying more than the base pay for my car. (A 2006 Pontiac g6 GTP) I pay 334$ a month for. It’s only because I had no credit at signing. But whenever they take the payment from your account they’re supposed to send you a RECEIPT. I do not have all the receipts from most of the times they pull my car payment from my account. Absolutely absurd. If you don’t get your receipt from them CALL and have a copy emailed to you. That is VERY unprofessional.

So far my experience has been okay. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Caliber here. The second or third day the transmission started acting up so I brought it in to the authorized mechanic. They got Red Mountain Funding to agree to put in a new transmission. Thank you Red Mountain Funding. I wasn't getting into a car anywhere and they made it happen.

Half the time you ll literally hear them pick up the phone a quarter inch and slam it when calling in. They can t figure out their payment system and will try and will treat early payments like extra payments

Can t even rate it ONE STAR more like -10! Spoke with DIANNA and let me you how RUDE she was!! She would NOT let you speak AT ALL so if you get her GOOD LUCK They charged us over $100 for their LACK of keeping their RECORDS UP TO DATE they couldn t see where anything was and had to wait a WEEK and we had to call them to get anything! Listen I dont understand all these negative reviews I bought a very vehicle almost a year ago they provided the loan so I could finance it I have even been late a couple times on my payments but always paid and they always work with me and the staff is always polite and never rude it even raised my credit score I would definitely use this company again when Im ready to trade my vehicle in remember when you buy a used vehicle there not guaranteed and some are as is this company was a blessing to me !

This company is extremely rude the first day I got the car they tried to drag money out my account when they knew I had 45 days b4 a payment is due and today they repo my car and I wasnt but 16 days late keep in mind I have the money but they want process my payment no see how the had the tow company drag the car out of the parking stall i sure the transmission is played out i dont recommend them to anyone i wish I never did business with them they can keep the car at this point

This funding company is unprofessional, dishonest. If you do business with these people they will make you feel like a criminal. I have never missed a payment always on time. The day of the car payment they send an email stating they need the my insurance documents before they will process the payment...... THE DAY OF.....there is more but this is the latest in the companys lack of professionalism!!!

0/10 Yolanda is one of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with. She literally asked why no movement had been made on document signatures after I told her three times to send them to my correct email address. Not to mention our names were spelled wrong in the documentation. Super unprofessional and then had the audacity to tell my fiance to check the correct email.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!! my loan was SOLD to these people. If I had any idea what a horror they were I would have stopped it. RMF is attempting to sue me after they ve already been paid over 5,000$ from my insurance & I set up payment arrangement for the 500$ I owed them. Yep, 500$. I have proof of every correspondence & my willingness to pay the 500$ DEDUCTIBLE. t They filed a lawsuit a week later! Stay away! This company is nothing but scammers!!! They will sue you for literally nothing

I like that Red Mountain Fund is caring to whats going on with you financially and willing to work with you, I was able to get a SUV when no one else was willing/able to help me, and Im liking this relationship after dealing with them for a year now......fast forward to today...I have been trying to have them removed as the lien holder for a few months now with no luck, I mean really how hard can this be...I just want our business together to be done.

This place is terrible with customer service. And don t ever rely on their autopay service. They don t auto draft your payments when they are supposed to do it can seem like you paid late. Which still gives you reason to have to call in so they can manually make your payment on the due date. I ve also asked to speak to the manager and i threw facts at him, and he threatened to Repo my car. They also will answer the phone and throw you on hold for long periods of time, instead of being polite and asking Can i please place you on a brief hold? . This company isn t considerate of their customers. If i come across any other issues, i ll be sure to update.

My son financed a vehicle with Red Mountain funding.This company is by far the worst auto loan company to deal with. The manager Illegally threaten him with arrest if the vehicle is not returned immediately. They refused his monthly payment in full a week when he was a week late.

So I own a diesel repair shop and had a customer bring a truck in he bought from them with lots of issues. Talked to them over the phone and was told if we used after market parts to fix it they would pay for the repairs. We get the job done and tell the customer and then they tell him they arent going to pay and customer doesnt have the money to pay for it. So now this truck is stuck at my shop taking up space and customer is still without a truck. They told him they could put him in another truck but that still doesnt get us paid for the work that was pre approved. Shady company to do business with not only screwing over there customers but other local businesses that are trying to survive right now. Shame on you guys for selling such a messed up truck and screwing over the customer and our shop. I will make sure everyone I know about how you did us both dirty.

They are absolutely the worst! They dont even deserve one star! They may have a wide variety of used cars but they are not reliable AT ALL! They basically sell you a car that they fix up just enough to survive the days of warranty (which was only 15 days in my case)... then once everything goes bad with the car they basically say it is no longer their problem. Please save yourself the time, stress and money!!

These guys sold me a car for 13k book on it is 7k 5 min after I bought car the engine blew. They replaced engine with one with over 1000 miles on it it has been in shop 7 different times since Jan and they refused to help me out with payment. The car is dead once again

This place is a fraud. I was told from the car lot they have in house financing but the car sales man put me with this company. Right after my vehicle was repoed for 1 payment and put on my credit. Upon putting on my credit it was wrote off and I have proof but myself and the credit reporting agency wonder why would they report to them and also auctioned the vehicle off n turned around n subpoenaed me to court which I will be counter suing defamation of character and reporting them to the better business bureau and anything I have to do to get these criminals away . Dont finance through this company. They are going down.

If there was a zero.star option I should choose that. I bought a car from there and its freezing transmission issues 2 days later and even under the 15 day /500 mile warranty they wont do anything and apparently dont have a return policy. They are scam.artists. Edit- update on the situation.. the owner al threatened to fight me. They reposessed my car before I could even make the first payment after they refused to contact me to get the car fixed with in the 15 days warranty time. Claiming that I was rude. Well. I wonder why. I bought a car and the transmission started going out with in the first 5 days. They are not completely at fault. I ofcourse was upset but they did not respond with any sort of professionalism or respect what soooo ever. Al said him and I were gonna dance truly a man who has no business dealing with the public. This company has no idea what a reaffirmation is. I filed bankruptcy and ask them for a reaffirmation for my vehicle so I could keep it. When I called to make my payment as scheduled they refused payment until I signed the reaffirmation papers. So I waited.... they never drew up the paperwork and then repo d my vehicle. When I called I talked to Brian. This man is rude and called me a liar when I told him they refused my payment until I signed the papers. This account was in good standing and never had a late payment so why would I let the account go due to bankruptcy. Very unprofessional back office staff. Brian should not be able to work with customers since he has no Customer service skills.

Rude and unhelpful stay away from them at all costs. Please dont put yourself through what I have experienced with these people. Had a simple problem with my vehicle that their mechanics couldnt figure out while vehicle was under their warranty. Took it to a real mechanic they changed a grounding cable and I had no problems afterwards my mechanic even did it for free since it was a simple fix. Please dont sign your name on any documents at this so called company. Also good luck if you ever have a question about your loan youll get three different answers from three equally rude customer service employees. Whole place is a joke stay away from these clowns. Idk what happened there in a years time they used to be decent but that place has gone to hell in a hand basket.

I had almost $600 and got a car. What dealership you know in Mesa alone, will do that for you? Not many at all. Its a used dealership that works with you and BUILDS YOUR CREDIT without unnecessary BS. If you dont have A1credit or $3500 or more to put down on a used car, this place is clutch. This place gives chances to low income people, to get transportation without a hustler or IN HOUSE FINANCING who will charge you out the butt for a used car. Times are hard and very expensive. I had no problems so far with these folks and its the neighborhood, mom and pop shops that I support all the way because corporate offices dont give a care at all.

Those guys are thiefs after a week from being behind and car payments they sent a guy to my house to leave a note on my door and then charge me $150 for his visit. I went there to pay off my car and told then I was not paying the extras charges for a guy the went to my house with a stupid note and the Manager kick me out of his office and told me he was going to kick my ass. Fabiola is rude on the phone and in person and the Manager because of his fat big body thinks he can push people around. Horrible Horrible Service

I GOT A VEHICLE AND TOOK IT TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP AND THEY TOLD ME IT SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN ON THE ROAD IT WAS A HAZARDOUS ! 1 MONTH AFTER I HAD PURCHASED AND I TOOK IT TO THE ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP THAT WAS FOLLOWING UP WITH THE ORIGINAL WARRANTY. THEY HAD BEEN VERY SURPRISED THAT THEY ALLOWED ME TO DRIVE OFF THE LOT. I MENTIONED TO THE RED-FUNDING NUMEROUS TIMES THE COMPLICATIONS I HAD WITH IT. THEY JUST SENT ME TO A HOLE-IN-THE-WALL TIRE SHOP THAT PUT A USED 15$ TIRE ON IT AND SENT ME ON MY WAY....AFTER THIS IVE BEEN TELLING THEM TO PICK IT UP BUT THEY WONT SO MY BF DID HIS BEST TO FIX IT. WE TOLD THEM TO PICK IT UP. WE STATED THAT WE ARE MOVING. COME GET YOUR VEHICLE! I HAVE LIVED THERE AFTER THEY WOULD NOT EXCEPT PAYMENT, AFTER I CALLED AND CALLED TO PICK IT UP, THEY NEVER DID! IT HAS A LOT ON THERE WITH THIS VEHICLE DESCRIPTION COLOR, MODEL, ADDRESS AND EVERYTHING UPON PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE RED FUNDING HAD I FILE! THEY STILL REFUSED! THEY ALSO REFUSED PAYMENT AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS! SO I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE IT IN THE PARKING LOT BEING IT WAS UNDER MY NAME. AS I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE GAVE OUT COMPLETELY! Ive been going through this company for the last 3 years and Ive had my ups and downs. Most of the time, I avoid interactions because my over-the-phone encounters havent been pleasant. I would call to ask a question and get very rude and defensive-stance responses. Communication has been seriously lacking, like when a payment that I saw taken from my bank account recently didnt go through for some reason, and instead of being contacted and informed they just charged me like a week later. Lately, I feel like their customer service has improved, but because I avoid interactions due to previous experiences I dont have a whole lot of personal evidence that this the new, typical standard.

I see a lot of complaints on here about this company. .. I have 0 ties to them but i am a ex recovery agent. .. The fact that this place and any other buy here pay here company takes a risk to give you a car when no one else will you would think you could be grateful as for them calling or repoing the vehicle when your a day or two late is understandable because you are a high risk ... If you think the new car dealers and banks dont screw you because they let you go longer with no payment your wrong. . you buy a new car thats 23k after tax doc fees license registration you now pay 28k for a car you drive off the lot and is now only worth 16k .... People need to realize that if youre high risk and dont answer when they call or take it upon yourself to call knowing you are going to be late then your vehicle will get picked up.. The amount of people that take off thinking they dont have to pay as long as they cant find you is about 20% those people make finance companies jumpy when dealing with high risk loans ... I understand both sides i too have bad credit and have to get cars from places like this i understand they can be a pain to deal with. .. But we all need to remember what got us to where we are it wasnt a finance company or repo company..some time people have to take responsibility for there own actions and stop blaming other people. ..

I have nothing but great things to say about Red Mountain Funding !!! My payments are very affordable. I started with a mustang which I loved but they allowed me to take a truck out after having one time payments and i absolutely love it . I highly recommend this place ..

This is a great place to buy a car. I when in and walked out with almost the exact car I was looking for. My credit score isn t the best and they still were able to give me relatively low monthly payments. The car sales man I worked with was also very nice and helpful, I wish I remembered his name.

They are the worst company, the vehicles are sold as is! Trust me you will have problems with your car, not only that your amount owed will seem like its never being paid for. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

So far my experience has been okay. I purchased a 2011 Dodge Caliber here. The second or third day the transmission started acting up so I brought it in to the authorized mechanic. They got Red Mountain Funding to agree to put in a new transmission. Thank you Red Mountain Funding. I wasnt getting into a car anywhere and they made it happen.

Yeah its a good place for cheap down payment, but the car is only going to run for a few days. They have no warranty for the car also, so if your in desperate need go else where. Your buying a car thats just being rebuilt to run and that is it.

Total rip off. Derek is a horrible car sales man. They make promises and dont keep. The put their customers into cars that have thousands of dollars in needed work to be done and in which the vehicle is not worth putting that much money into it. Red Mountain Funding DOES NOT PUT THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST!!!! They do not try to put their customers needs as a priority. They are ALL about money and making it. We had a car for 9 months. With nine months had to replace the front tires threes times. Could not do an alignment on it due to front in damage which was failed to mentioned. They basically gave us a car that should not have been sold. I would HIGHLY recommend NO ONE go to RED MOUNTAIN FUNDING if your looking for a reliable vehicle. Instead try Drive Time off of Alma School and Broadway. Awesome staff and they will for sure do everything in their power to get you into a used vehicle you can rely on. Warning !! Warning!! Stay away from this company!! This company is a repo business, under the disguise of a finance company. Thay are hoping you miss payment so thay can repo your car snd resale it to another unsuspecting buyer. Thay are rude on the phone when you call and question any of their actions. If you are one week late thay will come pick up (repo)your car. My daughter was in the hospital for 3 weeks unresponsive. Without any letters in the mail, thay came and swooped up the car. They then will charge you all kinds of astronomical fees to get it back, making it nearly impossible. If you have any belongings in the vehicle they will charge you $25 to retrieve them. They say its in the contract, but Im calling bullshit... They prey on the uninformed customer. Best bet is to deal with a reputable financial company. A good finance company wouldnt have six to seven cars out front, with $400.00 sticker prices on them. Im sure thay will respond to this complaint with some generic response, making it seem like they care about their customers. Dont be fooled in to thinking thay wont do the same thing to you.

My experience was from 5 years back but I am dealing with the fallback later and the NEGATIVE inmpact on my credit. In September of 2010 I went in and told the sales person I had about 2000 down. We went to look at a nissan Sentra. Test drove it and like it. So we sat down did the paperwork and then they said, well instead of a personal check can you bring a certified check while we work finance. I said sure why not. So I signed paperwork but never took delivery of the car, we were waiting on a certified check. Because of the nature of work I do I was not abe to get to the bank until two days later. I figured car will still be there, So i go back and fiance manager says you need more down like 1600 more. I said I couldnt do it. Mind you I never took possession of the car. I brought a used truck that did me well for quite a few years and then I moved to a city with a great commute transit system. So fast foward five years and I am looking to purchase a vehicle. Imagine my surprised that I have a loan through red mountain funding for a vehicle purchased September 2010 a loan for 2 years at 850 a MONTH!! and it was deliquent. They somehow pushed this bogus loan through on a car I never took possesion of and now Im fighting it tooth and nail. Buyer be ware if you run your credit here make sure you check it again if you dont purchase from them because you may be in my situation. A 850 deliquent loan and no car to ever show for it. I drove it once for a test drive. These people are scam artists

This place--let me tell you. So I was charged fees and they all a sudden appeared right before Christmas however have never been charged before. If you are 1 day late you get 3-6 calls a day--multiple voicemails stating personal information as well as text messages. They are extremely rude-no customer service at all. Red Mountain Funding only wants its money-no care for the customer.

This is my first time writing a review, only because I truly believe that people should do everything they can to avoid financing thru companies like Red Mountain Funding. Im assuming that the only people that would need funding such as these are those who have had some kind of hardship in the past and as a result their credit report has been affected negatively. Companies like Red Mountain Funding state they are second chance funding but in reality they are just predators waiting for an opportunity to put borrowers back on a hardship (i.e. no grace period what so ever on late payments, extremely high interest rates, extremely bad customer service) what I mean with no grace period is if they do not receive the payment on the exact day they will start looking for your car that same day on close of business. If you don t believe me give them a try and find out for yourself, you will lose. My opinion both of the positive reviews were made by Red Mountain associates. Only I mean ONLY use them if you have definitely exhausted all other options and really really need a vehicle for work other than that STAY AWAY STAY AWAY
